The farm with its garden of 5000 square meters and its swimming pool is surrounded by trees. Inside there is an artistic itinerary, created by the bio-architect Rodofolo Lacquaniti.

The accommodation
Located just 18 km from the sea of Castiglione della Pescaia, in one of the most beautiful areas of Maremma, this farm has a history that follows that of this land. Around 1930, this farm was built with a particular architectural structure: the central two-storey building, on one side the stable and on the other the woodshed, the pigsty and the oven. The building, over 60 meters long, is now a farm that, thanks to the careful restoration by the owner architect, retains the original charm: vaults with exposed bricks, stone fireplaces, high ceilings in wood and terracotta tiles. Secular trees, like a majestic ash tree and a holm oak, create vast ventilated areas that interrupt the arable land and olive groves and delimit the large garden around the farm and the swimming pool (6 x 14 - open May/Oct.). From here you can see some medieval villages (Vetulonia, Buriano, Montepescali) that from the top of the hills dominate the plain. Letizia and Rodolfo left Florence in 2001 to live in this corner of Maremma, welcoming guests for the pleasure of exchanging life experiences and to live with their passions.
Podere il Leccio is located near Grosseto (12 km) and Castiglione della Pescaia (18 km). The property has 5 apartments with 2/5 beds. The apartments offer air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, TV and private bathroom with bidet and hairdryer.
Modern art is the great passion of Rodolfo Lacquaniti. An artist who shapes materials that are no longer used: the turtle of steel discs and the large whale made of fishing nets are some examples of an art gallery that involves young and old. Guided tours are available on request.
