The agriturismo
In the silence of the Maremma countryside, lulled by the chirping of birds and the afternoon sea breeze, guests are accommodated in a 32-hectare organic and eco- sustainable farm that grows cereals, olive trees and vines, producing organic DOCG Morellino di Scansano wine and an excellent organic PGI extra-virgin olive oil.
Solar and photovoltaic panels exploit the long hours of sun, with due regard for the unspoilt surrounding landscape.
The accommodation
The 2 completely renovated buildings offer 4 bedrooms with bathroom and a communal room complete with hob and sink for heating or preparing quick meals , plus 2 apartments each comprising a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, with spacious portico at the entrance. The units have independent heating and air conditioning and are furnished in Tuscan arte povera style.
Special attention is paid to breakfast, served in a nearby cottage and offering delicious cakes prepared by Gabriella and Maria, jams made from the farm?s own fruit and salamis from the farm?s own pigs. Guests can help themselves to the family vegetable garden.
Activities and surrounding
Gli ospiti potranno vivere il contatto con la natura: alimentare gli animali della fattoria (galline, oche, pavoni e conigli), raccogliere frutta e verdura, girovagare con Elio e Angiolo con i mezzi aziendali.
Oltre alle splendide spiagge della Feniglia e della Giannella, di Castiglione della Pescaia e Punta Ala, č possibile effettuare escursioni nel Parco Naturale della Maremma o sull'isola del Giglio. Nei dintorni: Montiano, Magliano, Talamone, Scansano, Capalbio e le bellissime cittā del tufo; le terme di Saturnia; campi golf, il fiume Ombrone, maneggi e musei.
