The agriturismo

The story of this farm dates back, like many others, to the years of the Maremma reclamation: in the 1920s, many tenant farmers, veterans of the First World War from the Veneto region, moved with their families to cultivate the land and participate in the reclamation; since 1995 the agriturismo has occupied one of these old farms, known at the time as St. Lucia.

The accommodation

Guest accommodation is provided in 6 twin rooms and one single. The single and two of the larger twins are located in the main farmhouse, while the other 4 veranda rooms can be found adjacent to the restaurant (with Wi-Fi zone). All rooms are air-conditioned, and located on the ground floor with independent entrances and an adjacent garden.

 

You can enjoy buffet breakfasts of homemade sweet treats, and half-board guests can also enjoy delicious dinners of the farm’s own and other local produce. All guests have access to the swimming pool.

Activities and surrounding

The agriturismo has a riding school and offers excursions through the Maremma Nature Park on its Maremmano horses, with the typical Maremma mount.

Or why not hire a bike on site, and visit Marina di Alberese, cycling through green meadows where free roaming cows and Maremmano horses graze?
