The agriturismo
Completely renovated old stone farmhouse located on a hill in a dominant and panoramic position with wide views of the Maremma Grossetana, the hills of Brunello and Monte Amiata.
The farm, with organic certification, covers about 15 hectares with mainly olive groves.
The accommodation
The farm has ancient origins: it was the residence of the noble Pierazzi family as evidenced by the coat of arms still visible on its facade.
It is 2 km from the town of Civitella Marittima, 30 km from Montalcino, 40 km from the sea and Siena and consists of three independent apartments, with separate entrances and reserved spaces.
The Cistern: the name was given to the presence of an ancient cistern still used today for the collection of rainwater. In front of the apartment there is a furnished veranda with a breathtaking view! The apartment, of about 40 square meters is located on the ground floor and consists of an entrance hall with dining table and sofa, a beautiful romantic double bedroom, bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and sink. In the apartment there is also a beautiful wrought iron bunk bed for children. Finally, the apartment has a private garden, completely fenced in and with a personal barbecue. In the apartment there is a beautiful pellet stove for the winter period.
The Courtyard: the name was given to the presence of a small romantic courtyard in front of the entrance with a beautiful veranda with table and chairs. The apartment, of about 40 square meters is located on the ground floor and consists of entrance hall with dining table and sofa, a very special room with stone wall with double bed and an old window, a small, lovely kitchen, bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and sink. In the apartment there is also a beautiful pellet stove for the winter period. The apartment is finally equipped with a beautiful pergola with barbecue, table chairs in the garden with a fantastic view!
The Arches: the name was given to the presence of three wonderful arches that surround the veranda in front of the entrance with a panoramic view simply great! The apartment, located on the first floor and accessed by an imposing stone staircase, measures 150 square meters. and consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, large living room with 3 sofas and fully equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher, freezer). Each compartment is particularly spacious. In the apartment there is a wood-burning fireplace producing hot air and a pellet stove for the winter period to enjoy the warmth of the fire and the romantic atmosphere. In addition to the furnished veranda in front of the entrance to the apartment, there is a beautiful pergola in the large garden with table, chairs and barbecue walled. All for exclusive use of the apartment Gli Archi.
