The agriturismo
Cultivated mainly with vineyards and olive groves, the Ristella farm is located at the foot of the ancient medieval village of Montemassi, about 200 meters above sea level, in a setting of centuries-old olive trees typical of the Grosseto Maremma.
From the farm you can quickly reach the sea, woods and several medieval villages of historical and artistic importance.
The farm has a small equipped swimming pool , barbecue area, a beautiful garden and free Wi-Fi access.
It is also possible to book tasting dinners with the farm's products in the characteristic wine cellar.
The accommodation
Two apartments within the estate are dedicated to guests:
- La Meridiana: has a double bedroom with adjacent bathroom of its own, a large living room with kitchen, a single bedroom and a bathroom also suitable for people with disabilities. For outdoor dining, a large garden with gazebo and table.
- La Rosa dei Venti: has two double bedrooms, one of which is air conditioned, each with its own bathroom; living room, kitchenette and fireplace.
Also available to guests are rooms with every comfort, a large garden from which to enjoy the striking landscape of the Montemassi fortress, a small swimming pool and a large patio with barbecue.
Every weekend (by appointment) we organize dinners in the cellar with our typical products.
The environment, intimate and charming, in winter is warmed by the fire in the fireplace.
Activities and surrounding
Important seaside resorts such as Follonica, Castiglione della Pescaia and Punta Ala, which are about 30 km away, can be quickly reached from the farm.
It is possible to take walks or mountain bike trails to visit the nearby medieval suburbs of Roccatederighi and Roccastrada, which during the summer season organize village festivals inspired by ancient customs of the time.
Also noteworthy are the mysterious Castle of Pia dé Tolomei, the beautiful town of Massa Marittima, the characteristic Lake Accesa, and the Etruscan Necropolis of Vetulonia.
