The agriturismo
Surrounded by a large garden, Podere San Luigi overlooks the town of Follonica, the island of Montecristo and Elba from a hillock.
Ideal for groups, the whole structure is avaliable for weekly renting (one week minimum) and 11 guests max.
The beaches of Follonica, Punta Ala, Cala Violina, as well as the historical/archaeological sites of Massa Marittima, Scarlino and Populonia are only a few kilometres away. The house is at the center of a farm that covers about 100 hectares and is oriented on agro-ecological practices with crops mainly wheat and olives.
The house offers WiFi and SmartTV, covered parking for 4 cars and outdoor space for other cars.
The accommodation
The farmhouse, built in the early years of the last century, was refurbished in the 1960s and much of its furnishings were expressly designed. The latest renovation in 2019 renewed the rooms and restored the original furniture.
The building is about 270sqm distributed on two floors.
Ground floor: living room, sitting room, dining room, porch, kitchen, laundry room, double bedroom, large bathroom with easy access. The kitchen is fully equipped.
First floor: master bedroom with bathroom, double bedroom, double bedroom single bed, second bathroom, two single bedrooms with third bathroom in private corridor. All bedrooms are equipped with mosquito nets. All the rooms on the first floor are equipped with air conditioning.
Barbecue near the kitchen and outdoor dining table under a large gazebo. Outdoor shower on a secluded side. Indoor ping-pong table under the carriage house porch.
Activities and surrounding
The farm is located in an area of wildlife repopulation, rich in native and migratory fauna. On the property there is a forest of oaks and pines, an avenue of cypresses and over 4km of white roads ideal for jogging and walking.
Nearby there are sports and recreational facilities: tennis and paddle, riding stables, bike rental, golf, sailing and windsurfing courses, the Natural Park of Montioni, Lake Accesa, the Hippodrome of the Pines, the Aquapark.
In the house there are numerous maps and brochures of local tourist attractions.

As well as we welcome the guests, we are responsible for communication, we take care of the crops.
It was a desire to to keep the family business alive which led me to run an agriturismo.
Our guests especially like the location.
