The agriturismo
Located on a hillock with panoramic views of the Maremma hills, 5 minutes from the spas in Saturnia, the agriturismo consists of a stone farmhouse, surrounded by a large green area with trees.
Besides comfortable rooms with bathrooms, guests can also make use of a thalassotherapy pool and a restaurant where they can sample local Maremma cooking.
The accommodation
The agriturismo is equipped with all amenities and the 10 rooms are furnished in a rustic style and equipped with bathroom, TV, minibar, safe, hairdryer, bed linen and bath towels. Two communal areas are reserved for reading and relaxation.
A large garden is equipped with tables, chairs, barbecue, thalassotherapy pool, sun loungers and parasols.
The restaurant offers typical dishes from the Maremma area, using local produce and that from the adjoining farm where possible. The house specialities include pork and wild boar sausage, pappardelle pasta with wild boar or game, slow-cooked soups with cereals and pulses, grilled meats and roast suckling pig, all accompanied by fresh vegetables from the agriturismo’s garden. The wine is also homemade.
