The agriturismo
The farmhouse with its 5 rooms is part of a 10 hectare farm at the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, just 5 km from the Saturnia Spa Centre, perched on a small hill in the valley below Montemerano.
The agriturismo grows olives, vines and fruit trees, which are used to make organically produced extra virgin olive oil and an outstanding red wine, available for purchase on site.
The accommodation
The 5 guest rooms are named after typical Maremma flowers — Rosa Canina (Dog Rose), Mughetto (Lily of the Valley), Narciso (Narcissus), Violetta (Violet) and Fiordaliso (Cornflower) — and furnished with maximum attention to detail. Each one includes a minibar, TV, desk, armchair, free Wi-Fi, safe, fully-adjustable air conditioning and heating. You'll also find a stylish bathroom with walk-in shower, hairdryer, courtesy toiletries (shampoo/shower gel and shower cap) and heated towel rail.
Outside, and available for use by all guests, there is a barbecue and a scenic terrace with gazebo for outdoor dining. For relaxation, there's bocce and a professional table football table.
In the large breakfast room, with its separate tables, each morning guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast with yoghurt, fruit juices, muesli, corn flakes, homemade flans and cakes, fresh Tuscan bread to enjoy with butter and jam, fresh ricotta, a toaster for preparing your own toast, fresh seasonal fruit and other delicacies. Accompanied, of course, with a coffee, cappuccino or your choice of hot beverage. Vegan and gluten-free breakfasts are available on request.
