The accommodation
La Silva is a family-run organic farm of 27 hectares, 2 of which are olive trees of Seggianese olive with which we produce the exquisite organic oil, 3 of Sangiovese grosso and Merlot vineyards from which we produce our Opera doc Montecucco, 17 of stain Mediterranean and holm oak and oak, the rest is organic. The estate overlooks the Val d'Orcia in a sheltered position, sunny and with a beautiful view. You can appreciate the flora and fauna of the estate through a path equipped with small refreshment and relaxation points that crosses the forest and the corporate cultures. The farm has been created in the old farmhouse preserving all the structural and typical Tuscan characteristics. The entire estate is independent from an energy point of view, relying on the production of light and heat on site. The heating system and the domestic hot water are managed with a geothermal heat pump and the photovoltaic system feeds the electricity needs. Our 5 rooms are characteristic, welcoming and each one able to make you appreciate the natural and landscape context of a UNESCO world heritage site such as the Val d'Orcia. All rooms have a bathroom and large windows with mosquito nets and one of these with a large panoramic terrace. For our guests a living room and a dining room with fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen where you can choose to cook yourself if you do not want to take advantage of the breakfasts, lunches and dinners prepared with local products, local and quality.
