The agriturismo
Guests at the agriturismo, situated in the area near the Uccellina Park, surrounded by the river Ombrone and extend of 226 hectares , will immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of the Tuscan Maremma, amidst green pinewoods, clear sea, enchanting medieval villages and the multi-coloured Mediterranean scrub.
The complex is made up of two farmhouses: House Volta di Sacco is in the heart of the farm with 5 double rooms, near the swimming pool. House Marrucheto with 7 apartment, 500 m away from swimming pool , surrounded by a large garden with tables.
Breakfast is a rich buffet of homemade cakes, rusks, jams, coffee, tea, fruit juices, fresh seasonal fruit, yoghurt and cereals. ( no salad breakfast)
The accommodation
The housel Marrucheto, renovated in keeping with its original features, is home with 7 independent apartments, 4 at ground floor and 3 at first floor. They have a spacious double bedroom, a sitting room with sofa bed (for 2 people),kitchenette and bathroom with shower. The apartment at first foor have an attic space for add 1 or 2 single beds. The apartment are independent heating and tasteful furnishings, ceiling funs ( NO air condition).The apartment have bedroom, bathroom and kitchen linens with weekly change; On the ground floor there is a washing machine with coins.
The house Volta di Sacco renovated in keeping with its original features, offers 5 double bedrooms with bathroom with shower, heating and period furnishings.The rooms are at first floor , have the garden wiev, ceiling funs , ( NO air condition). Some rooms is possible add a single bed.
Activities and surrounding
The farm offers large open spaces for walking and cycling, in an area ideal for fishing on river Ombrone, and bird watching; children can visit the farm animals ( rabbits, horses, pigs etc.). All guests can relax by the pool or get to the river Ombrone for canoeing or hiking. We have ping pong, calcio balilla, football field, area playground for children andbicycles for adult and children are free.
The local tourist attractions are within easy reach: Mount Argentario, Giglio island, Scansano, Pitigliano, Lake Burano, the Saturnia thermal springs, Castiglione della Pescaia and Marina di Grosseto, Capalbio, il Giardino dei tarocchi In the Maremma Regional Park, there is also the chance to take guided tours, go pony-trekking and mountain biking.
We are Park “Excellence Recommended Facilities” and our guests have a discount of 15% on all Maremma Park itineraries, and a discount of 50% for the Parking near the beach.
