The agriturismo
At the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, an agriturismo near the sea at Castiglione della Pescaia, where the Mediterranean maquis shrub meets the cultivated countryside. The agriturismo offers two apartments with a shared swimming pool and a garden which surrounds the entire property.
To the north you can enjoy views of the Upper Maremma, with its hills and the towns of Giuncarico and Montepescali.
The accommodation
The agriturismo is located at the edge of a little hamlet of houses known as Paesetto di Buriano, comprised of two plains, with stunning views of the Maremman plain, surrounded by around 5000 square metres of lawn, fully enclosed. The two guest apartments are Berenice and Saracina. The first is the largest, with three double bedrooms, a double room with three quarter bed, 4 bathrooms, a main kitchen and a smaller kitchenette, and a large lounge built from the old stables. Saracina is a first floor apartment with 2 double bedrooms and a triple room (all with views of the surrounding countryside), a cosy lounge, a well-equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms, one with bath and one with shower.
You'll also find a BBQ, bicycles, a children's play area and a 6 x 9 m swimming pool with scenic views and two little cascades, a delightful old stone well, and loungers, sunbeds and umbrellas.
