The agriturismo
Set in a forest of oak and cork trees, Glamping Pian delle Ginestreoffers a quiet corner away from the usual tourist routes. It is located in the heart of the most authentic Tuscany between the sea, medieval villages, spas and cities of art.
It is a small farm, where organic oil and vegetables are produced and used in the kitchen to prepare authentic and healthy dishes. Accommodation in tents offers the unique experience of sleeping under the stars without sacrificing the comforts of a hotel room.
The accommodation
The farm offers 6 glamping accommodations for two people. The tents are built with a wooden floor and support structure and a pvc block out roof with crystal views so you can experience literally sleeping under the starry sky. They all have en suite bathrooms with bathtubs and an outdoor veranda with armchairs. Inside you can find a mini-bar, kettle for tea and herbal teas, a small safe, hair dryer, but they do not have TV. However, there is wifi in the common areas and it is free.
The outside of each property has a small private garden with sun loungers, table and chairs. The common area includes a hot tub with deck chairs and sun loungers and the veranda where you can enjoy dishes from our km 0 kitchen. Guests are offered the b&b package with bed and breakfast or the half-board package that includes dinner. The kitchen is available for the preparation of cutting boards, appetizers and snacks from 5 pm.
The culinary offerings for both breakfast and dinner are personally prepared by the owner and are based on the simple concept of "you cook what you produce" and what you buy you carefully select from local producers. The dishes that are offered are simple and traditional but prepared with care and attention to detail.
Activities and surrounding
The glamping is nestled in a forest about 3 km from the village of Sassetta and in the middle of a nature park. There is no shortage of hiking and biking trails. On request, e-bikes can be rented and guided excursions can be organized for both those who are keen on walking and those who are keen on biking.
The sea is only 20 km away, and with a half-hour drive you can reach the most beautiful beaches of the Etruscan Coast. There is no shortage of opportunities to visit small villages with an ancient flavor such as Sassetta, Suvereto, Campiglia, Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci or with a little more than 1 hour's drive you can reach beautiful cities of art such as Florence, Siena, Volterra, Lucca, Pisa. Not forgetting the Colline Metallifere (Metal-bearing Hills) with its boraciferous soffioni and its geothermal discovery trails.
There is no time for boredom, but for those who prefer idleness there is the Sassetta Spa. With a pleasant walk through the vineyards in 10 minutes you can reach the thermal baths of Cerreta where the thermal water gushes directly from underground at 51°. The informal yet elegant atmosphere of this paradise will literally allow you to unplug.
