The agriturismo

An organic farm nestled in nature, just outside the medieval hamlet of Suvereto (also accessible on foot), near the sea of the Etruscan Coast. The farm cultivates medicinal and aromatic plants and, in the wood and straw laboratory, produces herbal liqueurs, herbal teas, rose syrup and plant extracts. Classes are available to learn to recognise medicinal and wild plants, and find out how to use them in the kitchen and in phytotherapy.

The accommodation

Guests can stay in a comfortable apartment with independent access (living room with kitchen, bathroom, double bedroom and small terrace) or in a double bedroom with bathroom, also with independent entrance and porch.

The accommodations have been recently renovated in green building keeping the original materials and Tuscan architecture. The company has a low environmental impact: the sun's energy is used to heat the water and to produce electricity and the wood from the olive trees pruning is used for heating. 

In the garden around the house, guests have several corners to relax and enjoy nature and peace: a barbeque for barbecues and outdoor dinners, tables to eat out, hammocks and sofas to rest, read a book or sip a glass of wine at sunset. Finally a beautiful panoramic terrace with a breathtaking view over the valley and the surrounding countryside, also equipped with tables, cushions and sofas.

Activities and surrounding

Those who wish, can also visit the farm together with the managers, to discover the medicinal and aromatic plants, the laboratory where the products are processed (with final tasting of liqueurs and syrups of the house).

In summertime it is also possible to book an outdoor Yoga lesson, surrounded by the peace of nature.

A short distance from the Sterpaia Park, the Gulf of Baratti and Rimigliano, spas, archaeological parks, museums and art cities such as Pisa, San Gimignano, Siena, Volterra and Florence.

From the estate there are paths that can be followed on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback. We welcome guests' horses in corrals; the managers have the equestrian license to accompany them to discover the wonderful Tuscan countryside on horseback.
