The agriturismo
There is the "bed and breakfast" form, sleep and for breakfast not the usual "cappuccino" with a brioche, but bread and “schiacciate”, home made jams of strawberry grapes, orange, melangolo, green tomatoes and melon, and then fresh ricotta, formaggio di fossa, honey and desserts produced by The Farm: sweet salami and Corollo with olive oil.
Or you can choose to stay in one of the apartments and, by appointment, dine at the farm with dishes of seasonal products that the earth, the Great Mother, provides.
Do not expect a formal welcome. At SS. Annunziata II you will enter into the family. In the evening an aperitif together beneath the pergola, a chat in the kitchen while Beatrice prepares the preserves.
The accommodation
The Podere SS. Annunziata II offers its guests accommodation (9 apartments and 4 rooms) equipped with all the comforts to enjoy a relaxing holiday.
The smallest rooms are twenty-five square meters, for your greater comfort. All rooms or apartments or bungalows are equipped with satellite TV and wi-fi.
Each apartment has a private entrance and private garden with an equipped area (table, chairs and sunbeds). Available for children: cot, stroller, high chair and bathtub.
Outside the house there is a laundry room with washing machine and a large shaded parking area for cars, motorbikes and bicycles.
The large play area equipped with safety equipment will give children the pleasure of playing outdoors, while adults can enjoy the barbecue and wood oven where you can prepare delicious pizzas. Thanks to the swimming pool with Jacuzzi located in the rose garden overlooking the sea you can at any time of day or night give yourself moments of absolute relaxation to which will also contribute sessions of yoga, massages and other
beauty packages.
Small pets are welcome in all the rooms of the hotel and will find at their disposal bowls and cots.
Activities and surrounding
Upon booking you can follow courses in the company for adults and children taught by Beatrice.
The Farm has agreements with stables, tennis courts, a wellness centre, spas, and archaeological sites as part of the Province of Tuscany's WELCOME TO TUSCANY project that is dedicated to women that travel.
The Farm has created a series of educational activities that are suitable for all types of school. The programme changes with the seasons and according to the ages of the students. It can also be focussed on specific aspects to form part of the programme being taught during the year by the teachers.
Various activities can be carried out, such as, gathering olives with a visit to the oil mill, the extraction, by hand, of perfume from the medicinal herbs grown at the centre, visits to the cowshed and bee hives. and participation in the transformation of the products.
Thanks to the swimming pool with hydro massage situated in the rose garden view of the sea, it is possible, at any time of day or night to pamper yourself with moments of complete relaxation, perhaps together with sessions of yoga, massage and beauty treatments.
