The agriturismo

The estate is the property of the noble Garzoni family of the nearby city of Lucca and is still inhabited by the family's descendents. Just inland from the famous seaside resort area known as the Versilia, the estate has the magnificent Apuane Alps as backdrop and overlooks Lake Massaciuccoli.

The accommodation

All apartments, are renovated ‘800 rural houses, and maintain the original charme. They are immersed in the 10000 olive tree plantation (the trees are estimated to be over 300 years old).
All the apartments are self-contained and are divided into floors and still maintain the original rural Tuscan furniture. They all have a small equipped garden.
The main villa is surrounded by a 4 acre garden; a swimming pool (16x9) with changing room and toilet which is open from the beginning of June to the end of September. There is also table tennis and children playground.

Our houses and apartments are all absolutely independent and all have large outdoor areas of exclusive relevance. These favorable conditions allow that, both accommodation and outdoor relaxation, can be enjoyed without any concern for the recommended social distances, spaces and safety distances between the various positions of sunbeds, deckchairs and umbrellas, are also guaranteed poolside.
Our forty hectares of olive grove and the botanical path immersed in the scents of the forest owned by the farm make it possible to enjoy pleasant walks along the ancient farm paths, in search of wild flowers and the discovery of unsuspected panoramas.

Take-away service of the best specialties of the Tuscan rural gastronomy is available at the company kitchen.
Each housing unit is sanitized before each check-in and our collaborators are constantly subjected to the required health checks, in compliance with the current regional ordinances.
We are therefore confident that in Camporomano you can enjoy a peaceful holiday, with due respect for the precautions and rules dictated by the national legislation for protection from the Corona virus.

Guests can walk through the woods and olive groves, enjoying the surrounding landscape and stopping by the barn where cows and calves are kept, use the swimming pool or check out the old oil mill, where the traditional grindstone is still in use to obtain an excellent cold-pressed extra-virgin oil from the olives produced by the farm's 9000 trees.

    After countless tricks in places that call themselves Agriturismo and then are nothing more than simple B & B, I finally found the best representation of this word in Camporomano.
    Lovely place on the hills facing the sea, managed in an excellent and professional way by the owners of the entire hill, kept as 'natural as possible, from the roads leading to the various internal cottages, the salt water swimming pool surrounded by olive trees, the choice not to use air conditioning (in favor of the mistral that every day at sunset really refreshes!!) to the millennium in which they still produce a fine extra virgin olive oil with 40 hectares of olive groves that cover the entire estate.
    All the units are rustic and still have the taste of the past, but they are equipped with all the necessary comforts even for long stays, certainly a place dedicated to large families who want a (beautiful) house all for them, but also for those who give pure contact with nature the priority.
