The agriturismo
A farmhouse in the peaceful Barga countryside, just a few minutes from the historic centre, around 30 km from Lucca and 90 km from Florence, between the Garfagnana valley and the Lucca plain.
The road to get to the agriturismo may seem windy but the scenery is spectacular, and the route is completely accessible to every type of car. The farm is home to hens and bees, and guests are welcome to tour the apiary.
The accommodation
The agriturismo is small, the ideal choice for a relaxing break spend rediscovering the simple things in life, such as enjoying homemade bread or picking fresh vegetables from the vegetable garden. Sustainability is of maximum importance: a photovoltaic system provides the electricity, the heating is fuelled by solar power, and there’s a biomass boiler too.
The Verde apartment is located on the first floor, and features a private bathroom with shower and a small corner kitchenette with mini-fridge, gas hob, table and chairs. The Taverna apartment is on the ground floor, with a twin bedroom, bathroom with shower, kitchen and lounge with double sofa bed.
