Renovated ancient country homes in full respect of Tuscan traditions, it’s the perfect place for a relaxing vacation and for rediscovering the pleasure of the countryside. Certified by the Regione Toscana for the quality of its services.
An agriturismo especially for those in search of relaxing with family and friends, far from the hectic city life, and the ideal starting point for visits to cities of great interest, like Lucca, Pisa and Florence. The accommodations La Principessa and Il Cavaliere are spacious and cozy, suited to host small groups and families. The rooms all have a private bath and are unique for their furnishings: renovated though maintaining unaltered typical rural styles but with modern-day comforts.
The living room of each accommodation is sun-filled, with sofas, and a LED TV. The kitchen, a prefect combination between tradition and modernity, has a work station, oven, dishwasher, and fridge. There is also a blow dryer and washing machine.
The independent home, La Principessa, formerly a hay barn, offers a relaxing reading room upon a wooden mezzanine overlooking the living room. For relaxation lovers there is a spacious outdoor area and panoramic pool overlooking the nearby Valdinievole. Also nearby, guests may rediscover traditional Tuscan cooking at the restaurant Osteria del Vecchio Olivo.
Guests may visit the farm’s vineyards and olive groves: a stroll amidst Tuscan country life. The staff also organizes visits to olive presses with explanations and info on the production cycle of oil making (the farm produces excellent olive oil). Thanks to collaboration with the celebrated Osteria del Vecchio Olivo, guests may enjoy guided food tastings of traditional dishes from Tuscany and Lucca’s countryside.
For those who love art, culture, and history, you may visit the picturesque medieval hamlet of Montecarlo (on foot) with its imposing Fortress, and the nearby city of Lucca (circa 20 minutes by car) to see the impressive medieval walls, the ancient amphitheater square, the historic center and the splendid villas of Lucca. Also here you’ll find the new museum of contemporary art (which houses important masters like Picasso, Miró, Balla, Man Ray) and the traditional yearly event, Summer Festival.
Located in upper Tuscany, the farm allows its guests to also easily reach other art cities in the region as well as some wonderful beaches on the coast. The agriturismo is located exactly halfway between Pisa (40 min) and Florence (40 min). In 40 minutes guests may also reach the famous beaches at Forte dei Marmi and Pietrasanta.

Had a wonderful time here for the first week in August. Staff couldn't be anymore helpful, Luca really went out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. 15 minute walk to the nearest town, and 5 minutes to the restaurant making it very accessible even without a hire car.
We used the restaurant a couple of times and had take away pizza once to eat at the villa. At all times the food was delicious. We got the local wine from the estate delivered to the villa on the first night and have ordered more to be shipped home - I recommend the rosé!
The swimming pool was kept lovely and clean and there was always plenty of pool beds. Despite being shared with different villas it was always quite quiet. I would suggest bringing some mosquito repellent as although you can buy it at the local pharmacy at the village it is handy to have. All the windows have mosquito nets.
Courtesy and availability 'of staff, in addition to open spaces enjoyable, cleaning and care of the environment, well equipped and good gusto.Nonche' the beautiful Monte Carlo, which overlooks the whole.
