The agriturismo

The farm is in the heart of Versilia, behind the Apuan Alps, offering the perfect base for discovering Tuscany and its rich art, nature and food and wine heritage.
The farmhouse from 1791 has been renovated in Tuscan style, showcasing its traditional features.
From its terrace, guests can enjoy views of Massaciuccoli Lake and the surrounding valley.

The accommodation

The 3 apartments (Alice, Aida, Andrea) are named after the youngest children of the Mariani family. The spacious apartments, with terracotta paving and wooden beams, include a lounge, fully equipped kitchen (with microwave, dishwasher, kettle and toaster), 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms – one with a shower and one with a bath. Towels are also provided, along with highchairs and cots.
The scenic Andrea loft is especially elegant, with a Jacuzzi and an outdoor kitchen built into its private space.

Each apartment has its own fully equipped outdoor space, and the age-old olive groves offer shade on hotter days, with the swimming pool also available for a rejuvenating break at any time.
The owners manage the accommodation and are available to advise guests on events, museums, food and wine tours, typical restaurants and cultural points of interest in the region. Wine cellar tours with tasting are also available.

Activities and surrounding

Guests can enjoy birdwatching on the reserves of Migliarino S. Rossore or in the closer LIPU Park (the Italian Bird Protection League) on Lake Massaciuccoli. The surrounding area also offers tennis courts 1 km away, fishing 2 km away, horse riding 4 km away, Versilia Golf Club and/or Golf Tirrenia around 20 km away and an airfield 3 km away.

Forte dei Marmi, Pietrasanta, Viareggio and Torre del Lago Puccini are all just a short distance away. 30 minutes takes you to Lucca, with its historic centre still surrounded by walls from the Renaissance period. The city of Pisa, with the Piazza dei Miracoli and the leaning tower, is just a few km further. Florence can be reached in an hour, and the hilly settlements of Chianti, Siena and Maremma are accessible in around 2 hours.
