The agriturismo

Located in Zeri, in the hamlet of Noce, an old farmhouse surrounded by chestnut trees which once provided the raw material for the mill’s grindstones, still preserved today. Ideal for rest and rejuvenation, start the day with a delicious breakfast of fresh bread, homemade jams, yoghurt, cereals and homemade sweet treats

Hidden in the Lunigiana hills, the mill stands on the banks of the Gordana River:the owners, Adriana and Martin, restored the building in line with local tradition; Adriana worked on the project for many years, adapting items she found in the mill, such as chests, wooden flour sieves and doors and windows turned into paintings.

The accommodation

The farm offers four guest rooms with beautiful views, stone walls and wooden ceilings, private bathrooms, free internet and kettles.
La Camera del Nocciolo is the largest double room, named after the hazel tree that can be seen from one of its windows. The other window offers a beautiful view of the river.L'Essiccatoio includes a balcony with garden views and is the only room left in exposed stone. La Stanza della Musica is often used during winter by a skilled violinist to practice for her summer concerts; it enjoys views of the stone bridge and the gardens.La Stanza del Ghiro owes its name to the pair of dormice which inhabited it prior to the renovation and overlooks the bridge.

Guests can enjoy local dishes (such as Zeri lamb, famous for its specific taste), wholesome recipes prepared using vegetables from the vegetable garden and produce from nearby dairies.Packed lunches and picnics are also available on request.Meals are served in the lounge next to the fire or out on the terrace.Guests also have access to a small library with texts in Italian and English, a barbecue in the garden and on the terrace and a children’s play area.
