The agriturismo

In Lunigiana, just a few kilometers from Pontremoli, in Pozzo di Mulazzo, on a hilly area, it enjoys a charming view of the valley nestled between the Apennines.

Surrounded by a vineyard and chestnut woods, it is the ideal place for relaxing vacations rediscovering the genuine spirit of agritourism, the warmth of family management, working in the countryside and transforming agricultural products into genuine food.

The accommodation

At guests' disposal are 6 rooms, named after the grapes in the estate vineyard, tastefully furnished with fine details: exposed beams and Tuscan terracotta floors.

 

Traditional Lunigiana dishes are accompanied by the estate's wines, olive oil, cured meats and jams. From the pool there is a beautiful view of the perched village of Mulazzo.

 

There are many relaxing corners in the accommodation: small terraces, loungers in the shade of a large walnut tree, communal terraces in which to socialize. The table is also unique and you dine together.

Activities and surrounding

From the farm, 30 min. from La Spezia, one can reach the sea or the Cinque Terre National Park and visit the most characteristic villages of Lunigiana.

For tourists, opportunities for fishing along the rivers, trekking and mountain-biking in the surrounding trails; in September and October, picking mushrooms and other undergrowth products.

In the farmhouse there is an outdoor area used as a barbecue and wood-burning oven available for guests, who can also participate in the preparation of typical Lunigiana dishes and more.

The purely agritouristic side, on the other hand, will offer the opportunity to appreciate the slow seasonal cycle; the harvesting of fruits from the garden can also be a very important moment for children.

We spent a week at agritourismo Saudon, with two children aged 5 and 3. The place is beautiful!!! And very quiet. The swimming pool was much appreciated by all of us too. Gigliola's meals are very good.
