The agriturismo

On a family run farm, just a few km from the centre of Casciana Terme, a farmhouse dating back to 1825, renovated with respect for the original features, comprising 4 apartments (3 on the first floor and one on the ground floor) plus 3 independent rooms with bathrooms.

The accommodation

As well as independent rooms with bathrooms, the agriturismo offers tastefully furnished Tuscan style apartments, each comprising a bedroom, spacious lounge with brick and granite kitchenette, sofas and satellite TV, and bathroom with walk-in shower. The first floor apartments, all with different scenic views, taking in rolling hills, olive trees and vines, are Salvia with its own balcony, Rosmarino, the most intimate, ideal for couples, and Basilico, which comprises a double bedroom with space for a single bed for a child. On the ground floor you’ll find Appartamento Alloro, accessible to disabled guests.

A spacious loggia is available to all guests, with tables, chairs and a barbecue, and there’s also an infinity swimming pool in a beautifully sunny spot, with gazebos for taking a break in the shade, all surrounded by breathtaking scenery, the colours of nature changing as the months go by, from green to red, yellow and bronze.

All guests also have free access to the exposed brick lounge with barrel vault ceiling, once used for wine storage, where you will find dining tables, a seating area with satellite TV, ping pong and table football.

Activities and surrounding

The agriturismo is just a few km from Casciana Terme, a lovely spa town surrounded by hills, and set in an unspoilt oasis of wellbeing, with connections to Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano, Florence, Lucca and more, all accessible in under an hour by car. Il Poderino also enjoys quick and easy access to the sea and pretty hamlets.

Amazing
We spent ther one week, and it was a very nice time for us.I recommend everyone this place. Beautifull place, very, very nice owners. many placees to plaing for children. Clean rooms.
