The agriturismo
The family-run Podere Cagnanova farmhouse is immersed in the green Tuscan countryside, at the foot of the Monterufoli Nature Reserve. Located in the hamlet of Libbiano di Pomarance enjoys a wonderful panorama.
The our farm is engaged in the breeding of cattle, pigs, sheep, horses, including the famous breed of Monterufolini Horses. The company is also involved in the cultivation of pastures and especially forestry.
Our farm is ideal for those who want to taste and learn about the traditions of Tuscan country life, but especially for those who want to relax in the middle of nature.
The accommodation
The farmhouse is located on a hill, at the foot of the Monterufoli Nature Reserve, surrounded by woods and pastures in the heart of the Tuscan countryside of the upper Maremma. The farmhouse was born from the renovation of an old farm built in the 40s by the Ente Maremma. The farm is family run and the main activity is that of a farm. The farm has as its main activities: cattle breeding, olive tree cultivation, pasture cultivation and forestry.
Our farmhouse consists of a single large apartment of 80 square meters, located on the upper floor of the family house. The apartment is furnished with antique furniture typical of the Tuscan country tradition: the bread cupboard, the wooden showcase, the jovo, the spindle of wool. It has a maximum of 7 beds, ideal also for large families and for all those who want to spend time together relaxing in contact with nature and animals.
Overall, the apartment is divided as follows: 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with three single beds, 1 large bathroom (with shower and washing machine), 1 large kitchen, 1 living room with sofa bed. In the apartment there is a fully equipped kitchen, satellite TV, internet Wi-Fi, central heating.
Outside there is a large garden with tables for lunch or dinner outdoors on bright hot summer evenings. In addition, there are a wood-burning oven and barbecue for pizzas and grills.
Our swimming pool, located behind the house, is immersed in the green of our olive grove and is surrounded by a wooden fence with a wonderful and lush rose garden.
Our breakfasts are prepared only with organic ingredients produced by the farm: our blackberry, apricot and fig jams; the eggs of our hens and much more.
