The agriturismo
The agriturismo San Guglielmo is located between Volterra, Massa Marittima, Cecina and Follonica in the southernmost part of the Province of Pisa at Lagoni Rossi, where the Metalliferous Hills and the Upper Maremma meet. The large stone farmhouse of the nineteenth century, completely restored, houses in addition to the apartment of the owners two beautiful apartments for guests.
The accommodation
ETRUSCAN CULTURE - MEDIEVAL VILLAGES - SPLENDID NATURE - GEOTHERMY A farm holiday at Agriturismo San Guglielmo can offer all this and even more. Our farm is located in a peaceful area over the Cornia Valley, between Volterra, Massa Marittima, Cecina and Follonica. You will find a typical, fully renovated Tuscan farmhouse, composed of the owner's part and two comfortably furnished apartments for our guests. Outside, there is a lot of space for relaxing, with swimming pool, track for bowls, barbecue, pizza oven, big stones that serve as tables and seats, with a panoramic view of the Val di Cornia until the sea and the Island of Elba. Part of our land that embraces 28 ha is cultivated with fruit- and olive-trees, and a good part, covered with wood and typical mediterranean scrub with a rich fauna, invites to be explored. San Guglielmo is an ideal starting point for visiting localities with touristic, historical and cultural interest, as well as the geothermal areas around Larderello. Nature reserves, archeological parks and beautiful beaches are easy to reach. In the nearby villages that have preserved their original characteristics you will find excellent restaurants with typical Tuscan cuisine and delicious wines. We are surrounded by renowned wine-growing regions. Our guests appreciate San Guglielmo's friendly atmosphere and warm, sincere hospitality. The quietness, the splendid nature and our genuine products will ensure unforgettable holidays.
Activities and surrounding
Around the house there is plenty of space to relax with the swimming pool, an annex with bathroom, the bowling alley, the barbecue, the wood-burning oven, large stones that serve as tables and chairs and a panoramic view of the Val di Cornia to the sea and the island of Elba. On a part of the land that extends over 28 hectares we grow all kinds of fruit and olive trees, and a good part covered with forest and Mediterranean scrub with rich flora and fauna invites to be explored. Staying with us is the right opportunity to spend peaceful holidays in peace and to visit many places of tourist, historical and cultural interest and the geothermal areas around Larderello. We are only a few kilometres away from splendid natural and archaeological parks, but also from wonderful beaches.
