Tenuta Quarrata, an ancient residence dating back to the eighteenth century, is located on a Tuscan hill, near the small village of Santo Pietro Belvedere in the province of Pisa. In the heart of Tuscany, the Agriturismo Tenuta Quarrata is surrounded by the most important and fascinating cities of art of this region, such as Pisa, Florence, Siena, Lucca, Volterra and San Gimignano. The estate, dating back to the eighteenth century, consists of the manor house Villa San Giorgio and the farm.

The accommodation

Tenuta Quarrata provides several types of apartments, each unique and maintaining the style of the original structure, decorated and furnished in the tuscan style. Each apartment is equipped which a kitchenette, one or two bedrooms, a living room with one or two sleeper sofas and bath with shower, all independent inclusive with garden sitting area with forniture. At your disposal there are also barbecues, coin operated laundry machine and a large shaded parking facility. Tenuta Quarrata a late 1700 Residence, which is situated on a hill near the small town of Santo Pietro Belvedere in the province of Pisa. In the heart of Tuscany, it?s close by the most important cities of art, such Pisa, Florence, Siena, Lucca, Volterra and San Gimignano. The estate consist in an XVIII sec. Villa San Giorgio and the farm house. All the complex is surrounded by 5 ha park and olive grove, where you can find a tennis court, ping-pong table and the panoramic swimming pool (25m x 12,5m) with solarium. Well situated for lovers of trekking and mountain biking with nearby trails. Perfect place for those who want to spend their time enjoiyng relaxing moments, while being fascinated by nature. Good starting point for sightseeing, to discover and to explore breathtaking landscape, visit medieval castles, enjoying sampling and learning about local high quality food, fine local wines and OUR ORGANIC OIL. RESTAURANT: our cuisine is family style, our dishes are born from the passion of using typical product of our region. We have recreated ancient dishes of the tuscan tradition, like the pappa con il pomodoro, the minestra di cavolo, the fagioli all? uccelletto, the patè di fegatini, the pasta al ragù, the steak fiorentina cooked on the grill? and a good glass of Chianti. In the medium and high season, a buffet dinner is available. On tuesday evening there is a ?Tasting of typical tuscan food? paired with wines and our olive oil. Thursday evening ?candlelight dinner? with typical tuscan cuisine. Saturday evening self service buffet. BREAKFAST AND DINNER: The breakfast/dinner can be requested every day. COOKING CLASSES: Our cooking classes introduce you to the typical basic italian style food and specially the tuscanian one, and after.. all together tasting the food in our kitchen. WEDDING: Tenuta Quarrata reflect the impressive aristocratic style of tuscanian mansions, offering a large living room decorated with frescos. Together with a private chapel, huge park and a panoramic pool it?s a perfect location for your meetings, events and ceremonies.

Activities and surrounding

The cuisine of our restaurant is at a family level with traditional Tuscan dishes such as pappa al pomodoro, cabbage soup, beans all'uccelletto, liver pate, pasta with meat sauce, Florentine steak cooked on the grill all accompanied by a glass of Chianti. In the middle and high season it will be possible to participate in the buffet dinner. Every Tuesday evening you can taste typical Tuscan dishes accompanied by a good wine and our olive oil. Every Thursday evening Dinner by candlelight with dishes of Tuscan radiation. Every Saturday self-service buffet. **COURSE OF CUISINE: our cooking course allows you to learn the basics of Italian cuisine in particular the Tuscan one. Our courses will take place in the kitchen of Villa San Giorgio and after all to taste the dishes prepared! ***MATRIMONI: Tenuta Quarrata reflects the impressive style of Tuscan aristocratic residences offering a large living room decorated with frescoes. Together with the church, the large park and the private pool, it is an ideal location for events, meetings and ceremonies, it is also possible to celebrate the civil ceremony.
