1.5 km from Volterra, which can be reached on foot, the villa is nestled on a 5-hectare estate, in the heart of unspoilt Tuscan countryside.
The location is ideal for culture lovers: equally distant from Pisa, Florence and Siena, here you’ll also find the only two tombs from an ancient Etruscan necropolis, unearthed in the 1700s, which you can also visit.

- Limonaia is a two-room flat with parlour (and sofa bed), well equipped stone kitchen, bath with shower. The typical Tuscan ceiling has exposed wooden beams; private portico outdoors.
- Granaio is a studio flat with vaults in bricks. Also for the handicapped. Large stone room, with sofa bed (for two), with a sun-filled large window overlooking a garden with pool. A romantic alcove with stone walls and wrought iron bed; private outdoor area with flowers.
- Roseto flat with kitchen, two baths and three double rooms with 2 canopy beds; the vaulted rooms are partially frescoed. Private gazebo outdoors.
- Melograno two room flat, with access by terrace. Parlour with kitchen and sofa bed and one master bedroom.
The pool (12x6 m) is open from May to October with solarium, lounge chairs and umbrellas; barbecue and wood-burning oven.
Activities and surrounding
The area is rich in trekking trails and bike paths. For sports lovers there are: stables 3 km away, golf course 20 km away and sea 40 km away. In one hour you can easily reach S. Gimignano, Siena, Florence, Pisa and the Etruscan Coast.
