The agriturismo
In the municipality of Ponte Buggianese, on a 130-hectare estate, the architecturally striking building that once housed a cigar factory is used for events related to agriculture and the production of local agricultural produce as well as a site for holding international exhibitions.
Next to the cigar factory stands the old manor house, which has been renovated and transformed to offer accommodation for guests at the agriturismo.
The accommodation
There are 5 rooms and 8 apartments with kitchen on request, bathroom, living area used as a kitchen, heating/air conditioning, TV and refrigerator.
The two-room apartments have a double (or twin) bedroom and two extra beds can be added. The three-room apartments have one double bedroom and one twin-beds bedroom.
Apart from the bar and the breakfast service, the agriturismo has two restaurants: the Salone delle Feste is a traditional room with exposed wood beams on the ceiling and antique wooden furniture. It offers food and wine tastings with local produce and is ideal for banquets and special events. The Piccolo Ristorantino, seating 30, extends under an ancient pergola and offers half board dinners for guests at the agriturismo.
Activities and surrounding
The agriturismo offers numerous services: free wifi, beautiful gardens, meeting room with 220 seats, private parking, free use of bicycles, swimming pool with whirlpool, relaxation area equipped as a sun terrace.
It takes about half an hour to drive to well-known tourist destinations such as the Pinocchio Park (about 14 km away), the Pistoia Zoo (less than 17 km away), and the Giusti Cave in Monsummano Terme, just 9 km away.
