La Colombella is an ancient farmhouse made of stone dated back to 1000 a. C., located in a medieval village surrounded with the hills of Val d'Orcia about 5 minutes to Terme dei Bagni di San Filippo and about 10 minutes to Terme di Bagno Vignoni. It was excellently restructured in respect for the environment and for the structure, and it is provided with all the necessary comforts for a quiet staying. The farmhouse is on three levels, from which were obtained four bedrooms with private bathroom, a big kitchen and a wide living-room, all furnished with taste and characterized with an expert search of antique furniture and ceramics. A few minutes by car you can reach the cities of art as Pienza, Montepulciano, Montichiello, Radicofani, Montalcino, Abbazia di San Antimo, Abbazia di Abbadia San Salvatore. For lovers of Trekking and Mountain biking, you can make beautiful routes of the Via Francigena, go in the woods until you reach Mount Amiata and get to the hot spring water of Bagni San Filippo.

Activities and surrounding

The agritourism is part of the family's organic farm with a predominantly olive vocation, where different varieties of medicinal herbs are also cultivated. A few minutes by car you can reach the cities of art such as Pienza, Montepulciano, Montichiello, Radicofani, Montalcino, Abbey of San Antimo, Abbey of Abbadia San Salvatore. Given its proximity to the ancient Via Francigena, it is possible to retrace the ancient route that leads to the Abbey of Abbadia San Salvatore and the Fortress of Radicofani. It is also the ideal starting point for walks or mountain bike rides along the paths of the CAI, which are located just below the house, to be covered in the green towards Vivo d'Orcia, Monte Amiata or the nearby Baths of Bagni San Filippo.
