The agriturismo

Our farm has very ancient origins. For its particular almost ascetic beauty, for the panorama and the easily accessible position, the Priory Fathers of the Servants of Santa Maria of the convent of Città della Pieve probably chose it as a country residence, where to retire to pray and meditate. It has been mentioned in the historical archives since 1700, when the farm was part of the Municipality of Fighine, a castle not far away and still open to the public today. Today you can still breathe the presence, you can see the chapel they built, the avenue of the cypress trees planted by the monks and, in one of the apartments are still present the original doors with the numbers of the rooms in which the Fathers rested.

The accommodation

Our Agriturismo dates back to the XVIII Century when a few monks from Città della Pieve, decided to build here the country residence, to pray and contemplate. We can find some records in the historical archives and we know that in the 1700's, Spazzavento was related to Fighine, a castle nearby. Nowadays we can perceive the presence of the monk, in the chapel or with the cypresses avenue or in one of our apartments where we left the original doors with the room number where the monks slept. The swimming pool (6x12x1,50), surrounded by the beautiful park, is built in the respect of the natural setting. Each apartment has a private access to the pool.

Activities and surrounding

The swimming pool (6x12x1.50) is set in the green of the park with the utmost respect for the environment that surrounds it and is easily accessible from the apartments, but secluded enough not to deprive them of peace and quiet. Sunbeds and deckchairs are available for guests to place according to their needs in the green spaces in the sun or under the natural shade of plants. One of the peculiarities of the farm is the beautiful park at the back of the structure that gives shade and coolness on hot summer days. All guests are reserved a welcome aperitif inside the apartment with typical products such as cold cuts and local sheep's milk cheeses accompanied by a bottle of local wine. During the summer the welcome drink can be organized by the pool with all our guests. We also offer a welcome basket with all the products to make your breakfast unique. We organize lunches or dinners with typical products of our territory to be enjoyed all together in the farmyard, as per country tradition, by the pool or in the park sheltered from the summer heat. Guests will also have the opportunity to learn how to make homemade pasta, meat and sweets typical of our wonderful territory. To complete the food and wine experience in the countryside there is nothing better than a picnic among the vineyards or in the shade of the trees of our park to enjoy in peace! For this reason, on request, you can book a picnic basket full of good things, traditional dishes, local products and good wine ... what are you waiting for?

We were informed the night before your departure otherwise we would have, without a shadow of a doubt, tried to make your stay more comfortable by bringing an added net into the apartment.
For us it is essential that our clients feel at home, that is also why we try to take care of every relationship, desire and/or need.
We are very sorry for what happened.
We take note of the suggestion, about the sofa bed in the OLIVO apartment, which was born as a 2+1 apartment, with a triple room (double bed and single bed) that, if needed, can also accommodate 4 people by taking advantage of the sofa bed.
