The agriturismo
Between Torrita di Siena, Pienza, and Montepulciano, the mediaeval town of Montefollonico is perched on a hill at the feet of which stands the agriturismo, in an natural setting surrounded by flora and wildlife, just a short distance from the most famous cities of art and spa bathing centres.
The farmhouse offers a wonderful view from Val di Chiana to Cortona and Lake Trasimeno.
The accommodation
The agriturismo has six guest rooms, each with its own name and featuring completely different furnishing and atmosphere. There is also an apartment with independent entrance, complete with small kitchen, double bedroom, single bed, bathroom, lounge with double sofa bed and television, and dining room.
Guest facilities include: a large swimming pool; a pool table; mountain-bikes.
Breakfast is based on preserves made with organically grown fruit and home-made fruit-juices; products from the farm, the aromatic herbs from which essential oils are extracted and the olives used for the production of extra virgin I.G.P. olive oil are all grown with organic methods, like the ancient varieties of fruit trees planted by the owners.
