For those who love living in harmony with nature, this farm offers unique moments. It is a small village where the comforts of the present have safeguarded the authenticity of the past and the warmth of the ancient stones: the whole environment leads to a slowed pace of life, aware of freedom and silence that the modern city no longer allows. In the heart of the Sienese hills, a few steps from the castle of Monteriggioni, and a short distance from Florence, this farmhouse is the ideal place from which to explore central Tuscany. Located 3 km from the Castle of Monteriggioni, Novelleto is a very ancient isolated cottage dating back to the year 1001: offers an outdoor pool (shared with all guests), a garden, apartments and rooms with private entrance inside the small court, and free WI-FI connection in public areas. As a guest of our structure - family-run - you can spend pleasant moments of relaxation surrounded by nature, with a fiacno of vineyards and olive trees in biological management, or in the garden complete with barbecue facilities. With a 40-minute walk through the woods and countryside, you can reach the Castle of Monteriggioni. In the property there is an enclosure with animals and a play area for children. Particular attention is paid to the environment: linen change and weekly cleaning; recycling; wood-fired heating system running all winter; in the summer months hot water is produced with a heat pump; photovoltaic system produces the necessary electricity. It is possible to book breakfast, horse riding, bike rental, hair stylist and to take advantage of a discount offered by the property to access the thermal pools of Rapolano, which are 45 km away.
