The accommodation
The farmhouse, nestled on the northern slope of the Montalcino hill at about 300 m above sea level, nestled among vineyards, olive groves, holm oaks and oaks, as far as the eye can see, is located on the ancient white road (still on beaten ground) that it led to Siena, a must for caravans and wayfarers who had to pass by. It is built according to the Tuscan tradition of the place, entirely in stone with exposed face, the so? Tti in bricks and beams in chestnut, while the floors are in handmade terracotta. The interiors, recently renovated, maintain the elements and colors typical of the Tuscan tradition, with furnishings of local origin, in order to preserve - as far as possible - the rural atmospheres of the past. The agriturismo boasts 4 sunflowers (on a scale of 5) assigned by the Tuscany Region. The property is completed with the organic vineyard bred with Sangiovese grapes from which are obtained the valuable red berried grapes for the Rosso di Montalcino DOC, as well as a small olive grove for family use. On request, the staff will be happy to accompany you in the bio vineyard. In the farmhouse the winemaker has made his home, allocating part of the same (two rooms, as well as an apartment with kitchen) to the reception of a few guests.
