The agriturismo
The farmhouse dates back to the early 1900's and has been restored preserving its original characteristics. It is located in the centre of the enchanting valley along the state road leading to Pienza, from here you can enjoy a beautiful panorama, an ideal setting for walks through fields and woods and absolute relaxation.
The farm is part of a 60 hectare farm that cultivates cereals, forage, olive groves and green pastures for sheep, and produces extra virgin olive oil. The agriturismo operates in respect of the environment, eliminating chemicals and using photovoltaic energy.
The accommodation
On the road that connects Montepulciano to Pienza, at 3 km from Montepulciano, in the middle of a valley of enchanting beauty is situated the farmhouse La Creta. The farm completely restored, has maintained unaltered its original structure which dates back to the early years of the XX century. It is possible to enjoy a wonderful sight of the Valdichiana and its beautiful villages of Cortona, Montepulciano and Montefollonico, and the beautiful San Biagio Cathedral on its footsteps.
The Farmhouse La Creta has chosen to work for themselves and for their guests, in the respect and protection of the environment by converting their production to the method of Organic farming therefore eliminating any use of chemicals on crops or fertilizations.
It makes use of energy produced by photovoltaic panels, avoiding the emission of pollutants from the production of electricity.
Two apartments are at the guests' disposal. Situated on the ground floor, they are comfortable, airy and well furnished in the old rustic Tuscan style. They open into a large grassy area, equipped with garden furniture and barbecue to enjoy your meals in the open air.

It is thus possible to go for longand peaceful walks amongs meadows and woods. A few meters,the Cugusi Farm produce a renewed extra virgin olive oil
Activities and surrounding
The farmhouse is located on the main road from Montepulciano to Pienza, 3 km from Montepulciano, in the middle of an enchanting valley. From here you can enjoy a wide view of the Valdichiana and its beautiful villages of Cortona, Montefollonico and Montepulciano, at the foot of which stands the charming temple of San Biagio.
