La Fonte is nestled between the inimitable hills of Val d'Orcia, one of the most characteristic landscapes of Tuscany.

The agriturismo, a family management, is composed of a restaurant, four apartments, a craft brewery, a swimming pool and a large park with olive trees, vegetables, fruit trees and farm animals.

A unique landscape, quiet, cozy alternation of seasonal colors, enjoyable in full relax in the pool or at lunch or dinner are consumed traditional Tuscan dishes accompanied by the excellent beer brewed in the company.

THE FARM:

A unique landscape, quiet, cozy alternation of seasonal colors, enjoyable and at lunch or dinner you consume food in our restaurant: we take pride in preparing dishes that have roots in agriculture and the rural tradition of the area. The kitchen lives exclusively of local ingredients, fresh local produce carefully researched in Tuscany, produced by us or purchased from other farms or food artisans. An equally varied and high level of wines accompany the best dishes of the restaurant, including the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, which combined elegant but relaxed atmosphere, combine to make become the convivial meal on special occasions to remember. The atmosphere of the restaurant warm and welcoming offers the opportunity to dine with the rhythms and atmosphere related to the peaceful life of the country, making use of a large outdoor area, where the eye is lost on the horizon making you thrill to the sight of panorama with unforgettable sunsets over the crete Senesi and the Val d'Orcia. Our guests reserve the best table, the menus change frequently depending on the seasons, the availability of products from different farms and the always original ideas of our chefs in the kitchen.

THE FLATS :

The apartments are 4: Aia, with 4 beds, Caciaiola, sleeps 4, Granaio, sleeps 4, and Pagliaio, with 2 beds. They are furnished with great care, maintaining the simplicity and subtle elegance of the Tuscan style. Little touches soften a set dominated by the austere and chests in traditional style walnut furniture. The apartments are equipped with all comforts: bathroom with shower, central heating, kitchen, refrigerator, TV, dishes, linens. For our rich and tasty breakfast buffet, we only use local ingredients, fresh and genuine, for a breakfast at km 0 that enhances the typical products, creates and maintains a link with the territory and favors the good seasonal food. To make you start your day with taste, on our table, you will find cakes, biscuits, jams, yogurt, orange juice, fruit juices and again bread, eggs, meats, cheeses with delicious cappuccino, coffee, milk or tea.

THE BREWERY:

Our small agricultural craft brewery in the heart of Tuscany. Brasseria della Fonte is located within the beautiful agriturismo, it all led to family. The beers are brassate from the water of our source, using barley and hops grown within our company. The brewhouse is a system with 2 to 6 hl vats, with four fermentors for a total of 22 hl, all designed and built to obtain the highest quality. A few meters from the brewery, grow hops we use in our specialty beers, such as FresHoops, and other American-style Ales. Cultivation is born as an experiment in the spring of 2015 with a selection of two American varieties for a total of 20 plants, grown for over 6 meters during the summer season. In 2016, the plantation was extended to about 430 units, with the aim of cultivating the few varieties to be used for the aroma in some seasonal beers. In early September, the flowers full of fresh lupulin are collected and immediately thrown into the boiling vat, where it will emit their aromas of citrus and floral. At the restaurant you can enjoy our beers at the peak of freshness, accompanied from our local dishes, while enjoying the beautiful view of the Val d'Orcia.

Pope Enea Silvio Piccolomini established Pienza, which is situated about 2 km from S. Quirico d’Orcia. It is a culturally enriched town with numerous monuments and works of art. It sits upon a hill, facing Valdichiana, just opposite of Monte Amiata, at about 500 meters above sea-level.
