The agriturismo
La Selvella is a cozy hamlet in Tuscany, province of Siena, located in the Parco Della Val d'Orcia Unesco World Heritage Site whose origins date back to the 1700s.
La Selvella is an establishment capable of offering good and healthy food, and all the attention and friendliness in a family environment. With great passion and respect for nature, the argaria farm produces oil, cereals and legumes all strictly organic. In the summertime, vegetables from the garden are always on the table. Animals are raised on the farm.
The panoramic swimming pool, available to guests (seasonal opening), is equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas and hammocks.

The accommodation
The complex is anold historic house whose initial construction dates back to the 1700s, completely restored in 2000 in full respect of the structure and its peculiarities. The ceilings are all original, many pieces of furniture are handcrafted in the house.
The lodgings are different from each other, each has a private bathroom. The common rooms, with a fireplace and wood stove, are available for breakfast and dinner service and also for relaxing during the afternoon with hot herbal teas while reading a borrowed book in the library.
TheGirasole apartment (65sqm) is located on the second floor, and has one double and one triple room, perfect for a family. To quietly enjoy your vacation in Val d'Orcia, the apartment offers a large living room with a fireplace and full kitchen, all accompanied by a beautiful pool view.
The Mimosa room is located on the ground floor, is a small and comfortable double room, equipped with television and refrigerator, with an area of about 18 square meters, overlooking the valley.
TheGelso apartment (32sqm) is ideal for a family vacation. It is located on the second floor, equipped with four beds with a beautiful village view. The apartment has, a fireplace perfect for some peace and relaxation, a mini-bar and bathroom-shower. There is no kitchen.
TheForno apartment is on the second floor, and consists of a double bedroom and a single bed, ideal for three people. Furnished in a rustic style and featuring a beautiful pool view, it combines comfort and relaxation. With an area of about 47 square meters. It offers a kitchen with living room, bathroom-shower and hearth.
The Old Granary studio (22sqm) is on the ground floor, ideal for two people, is a double room with two beds, comfortable and spacious equipped with a fireplace, air conditioning, a dining area and a spectacular view of the valley.
The Vigna apartment (50sqm), is a two-story apartment that has a double bedroom equipped with air conditioning and a bathroom-shower, a living room with a sofa and a fireplace, and the kitchen equipped with every comfort. On the second floor, on the other hand, there is a twin/double room with television, which has its own bath-shower. Completing the relaxing vacation is the terrace with a beautiful view of the valley side.
TheArchi apartment (38sqm) consists of a double bedroom, a single bedroom and a living room with a wood-burning stove, ideal for three people. It is located on the ground floor and has a private garden with a view of Val d'Orcia, so you can enjoy your vacation to the fullest.
The Romantic Suite (35sqm) is ideal for two people who want to spend a relaxing vacation in a rustic and quiet environment. It consists of two beds with a beautiful view inside the Selvella, a bath-shower, television, refrigerator and two-person Jacuzzi for total relaxation.
The Francigena suite (33sqm) is located on the ground floor, it is a double room with a bath-shower, to relax in peace a two-person Jacuzzi. The rustic setting, with hearth, offers all the necessary comforts for a relaxing stay with ample outdoor spaces such as the garden and gazebo.
The Bacchus Suite (24sqm) is located on the ground floor, a perfect place for two people. It has a large outdoor space with gazebo and park view where you can enjoy the panorama of the Val d'Orcia with an outdoor dinner. The suite consists of a room with a king-size four-poster bed, a fireplace, television, and for total comfort and relaxation the bathroom with a bathtub.
TheContadino apartment (53sqm) is located on the ground floor and has a large outdoor area with a gazebo, ideal for a bit of relaxation. It consists of a double bedroom, an immense fireplace and a comfortable kitchen, for a quiet and cozy stay.
Laura's room (24sqm) is located on the ground floor with a view of the farm's production and agricultural area. It is a double room, suitable for two people, with a warm atmosphere, which will allow you to experience the life of the farm and fully contemplate its many activities, while safeguarding your privacy.
The tastefully and originally created furnishings make the atmosphere very romantic.

The agriturismo collaborates with other organic farms and organizes guided tours, tastings of local products, cooking classes and truffle hunting. Riding stables in the immediate vicinity, are ideal for horseback riding enthusiasts. New since 2015, available to guests, guided tours of the farm with access to the poultry pen.
The farm's location offers the opportunity to discover the natural beauty of the Val d'Orcia: the unforgettable countryside around Pienza, Montalcino, Castiglione d'Orcia, Radicofani and San Quirico d'Orcia, the five municipalities that have created the Val d'Orcia Natural and Cultural Artistic Park.
You can also visit Montalcino wineries and delight your palate with a glass of Brunello di Montalcino, one of Italy's finest wines.
