Nestled in the stunning Siena hills, the agriturismo has been carefully renovated and equipped with solar panels and a biomass boiler, making the property self-sufficient from an energy point of view.
The careful renovation of the stables and outbuildings of the old farmhouse has created 3 apartments:
Il Segatoio comprises a lounge with exposed brick archway, kitchenette, a single bedroom, bathroom, double sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchen.
La Stalla offers a lounge with kitchenette featuring ribbed vault ceilings and a restored manger, a single bedroom, a double bedroom, 2 bathrooms and independent access via the garden.
Le Soffitte was created from one room and two lofts in the old farmhouse, and features a hallway and lounge with double sofa bed, kitchenette, two twin rooms with the option to add an extra child’s bed, bathroom, terrace with scenic views and its own garden.
A basement room used as a communal area is the perfect place for small groups to cook, eat and socialise together. The buildings are all surrounded by a large farmyard, where children can play and guests can dine outdoors.
Available upon request, the agriturismo offers a typical Tuscan dinner, prepared using the farm's own and other short chain produce for around 12 people.
The Elsa River, just a few dozen metres from the agriturismo, is the ideal place for long strolls among the surrounding flora and fauna, as well as enjoying a spot of fishing.
In the local area guests can visit Staggia Senese, home to the Castle of the Franzesi, built at the end of the XIII century, and the charming medieval hamlet of Colle Val D’Elsa.
San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Siena, Volterra and Florence are all easily accessible.
