The agriturismo
The Podere Marroneto farmhouse is located in one of the small villages that make up the hamlet of Iesa, nestled in the Val di Farma hills in the countryside near Siena. The farm has rooms with all the comforts of living and swimming pool surrounded by the beautiful garden where it is easy to relax on a deck chair looking at the surrounding landscape. At 10 minutes by car you can reach the Terme di Petriolo with sulphurous waters very beneficial for joint pains, muscular but also for skin problems; in summer you can refresh yourself at the river Farma, reachable on foot, with a nice walk in the woods or the sea. also near Siena, Grosseto, the area of ??Chianti and other villages such as San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Volterra and many others.
The accommodation
There are some places in Tuscany famous for their wine and good food, others for the views immersed in pastel colors of sunsets and sunny afternoons. Then there are small, less famous centers, certainly less known, but with the peculiarity of having maintained over the centuries the characteristics that have always made this land famous, where time flows at different rates, where animals are still an integral part of life everyday, and where it is still possible to find the time and the pleasure to stop in front of the incredible shows that nature can offer. From the clear rivers that during the summer season flow into the valleys bringing a bit of fresh, to the yellow leaves of the autumn woods, the colors, the smells, the sensations will follow you even when you return to your cities, leaving a serene memory of moments spent immersed in this world to the point of wanting to come back again. The area allows comfortable movements along roads not very busy and full of history, routes to do by car, motorbike, bike and many paths to enjoy walking, with various levels of difficulty and therefore suitable for any age and degree of physical preparation. You can choose to spend the day wandering through the streets of medieval cities such as Siena and Florence, or dozing off lying on a polished stone near the river, laze in the shade of centenarian oaks with your favorite book in your hands, or breathe crystal clear air running along the shaded paths; the possibilities of choice are numerous, and all in perfect harmony with your mood, spirit and passion. The farmhouse in which the lodgings are obtained is the typical structure of stones and bricks, with ceilings in chestnut beams and wide internal spaces, perfectly restored using natural materials and modern facilities, result that allows guests to relax in the spacious air-conditioned rooms maybe using the company wi-fi network with your pc. There is also a sunny swimming pool, suitable for both adults and children, gym equipment, bicycles, and the availability of staff to make your stay pleasant and memorable. The farm has twelve beds, in six double bedrooms, almost all with services for exclusive use. Breakfast is served in the main room, where in winter the large fireplace always on helps to create the unmistakable atmosphere of the Tuscan countryside, or, in the summer, in the shade of the large porch pampered by the surrounding landscape. Prices range from a minimum of 35 euros up to a maximum of 40 euros per day per person and include accommodation, breakfast, final cleaning and use of the pool. The stay for children under three years is free.
