The accommodation
The farmhouse is located on a hill in Crete Senesi. It offers a quiet holiday for those who love to rest and for those who want to visit the beautiful places and artwork that surround it. The villa is the result of the renovation of an ancient agricultural annex from which four apartments were built. The building preserves its original appearance because old materials were used in wall works, while for the technical part, modern technology has been applied: ventilated roof with 20 cm thermal insulation that ensures comfortable interior temperatures in summer and winter, hot water with solar panels, underfloor heating with maximum comfort and energy saving. The interiors are very well cared for and comfortable. The property faces a beautiful 10-acre forest, from which often go roe deer, hares and wild boars to eat or drink in the small pond. From here it is easy to reach Siena (12 km.) Florence (70 km.) S.Gimignano, Volterra and then, very close to Val d'Orcia, patrimony of UNESCO's humanity, with Montalcino, S.Quirico d'Orcia, Pienza, Montepulciano, Bagno Vignoni, unique and famous places for great WINES and Pecorino cheese.
