The agriturismo
Ours is a quiet farmhouse, with a few cozy rooms and unforgettable views. From all our windows our gaze runs over the city, perched on Mount Subasio, with the basilica of St. Francis standing out over the valley below, among pastures, woods and olive groves. In the distance you can even see the bell towers of Perugia.
The accommodation
We are really proud of Moraiolo, our holiday apartment also because we have completely renovated it to make it comfortable in every aspect. The apartment consists of a dining room with a new and well equipped kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a study with a comfortable sofa. Most of the rooms, except for one bedroom and one bathroom, are on the ground floor and offer a wonderful view of Assisi and the surrounding hills that characterize our farmhouse. The same enchanting views can be enjoyed from the outdoor terraces which are reserved for the occupants of the apartment. Peace and beauty reigns everywhere. Like the rest of the farmhouse, the Moraiolo is an eco-sustainable structure thanks to the solar roof and wood heating at km 0. Among other things, the new ventilated roof, completed in 2012, guarantees natural coolness in summer and warmth in autumn and spring. At guests' disposal there are six rooms, all with beautiful views of Assisi and the surrounding hills. For your rest, the rooms are acoustically insulated and equipped with private bathroom and underfloor heating. Each room is furnished with old rustic furniture combined with elements of handicrafts and fabrics that we have collected during our travels in various parts of the world. Breakfast is served in the living room that remains at your disposal even after dinner for a chat around the fireplace, to rethink the beautiful day spent in Umbria, to build the trip of the next day by browsing through the collection of guides and books of photographs that we have put together for you. In summer you can spend pleasant evenings under the pergola or on the panoramic terrace, to enjoy the enchanting sunsets, and appreciate the coolness of the mountain breeze.
