The agriturismo
The wonderful climate of the Upper Tiber Valley awaits you at this family agriturismo, on the border with Tuscany, nestled in the hills between Città di Castello and Gubbio.
Surrounded by typical crops, woodland and meadows, this farm is the ideal place to relax, explore nature and Umbrian tradition and enjoy the finer things in life: guests can taste and purchase delicious Chianina beef produced on the farm itself.
For a chance to see nature a different way, the family has opened the doors to its farm.
The accommodation
Guest accommodation is provided in rooms of one to three beds, all typically furnished in keeping with local tradition, with private bathrooms and spacious terraces.
On its 170 hectare estate, the farm rears a semi-wild herd of Chianina cattle, producing P.G.I. “White Beef from the Central Apennines”. There are "Italian Heavy Draft" horses, and the farm also breeds Bernese Mountain Dogs. The educational farm is also home to a host of barnyard animals, be sure to pay them a visit.
The flat parts of the farm are used for growing Virginia Bright tobacco, typical of the Upper Tiber Valley region, as well as apples, salad, cherries, plums, cabbage, radishes and more.
