The agriturismo
Dating back to 1864 and surrounded by an olive grove, the farmhouse stands in the Mount Tezio Regional Park and is just 30 minutes from the Mount Subasio and Mount Cucco Parks. Nearby there are trails for mountain biking, horse riding and exploring as part of the "Sentieri, castelli e pievi del perugino" project, a network of signposted routes around the pathways, castles and churches of Perugia. The agriturismo has its own swimming pool with solarium, which is also suitable for children.
Upon request, guests can enjoy tasting “salame di cinta senese”, a type of salami typical of the Siena region, as well as cheeses and wines. There are also guided tours of partner cashmere and ceramics workshops and showrooms, with the possibility of discounts for the agriturismo’s guests.
The accommodation
The renovated farmhouse is made up of 6 apartments with double bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens (crockery, fridge, oven, induction hob and dishwasher), sofa bed (for one or two), bathroom with shower, TV, private entrance and access via remote controlled gate. In more detail:
La Cantina: with second double bedroom, lounge, open fireplace, bathroom with bath and whirlpool shower.
L'Etruschetto:the bathroom contains a stone bathtub created from the partial recovery of the channel originally used for pressing grapes, perfect for relaxing under the gentle jet of water from the showerhead.
Il Granaio offers a bathroom accessible to disabled guests; Gli Archi also has a single bed.
Pietra Regina:as well as the double bedroom with open fireplace, this apartment also has a mezzanine level which accommodates 2 people in a three quarter bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge with an open fireplace and a bathroom with a bath and whirlpool shower.
Tetium:also has a mezzanine level with two single beds, a lounge with open fireplace and a kitchen.
Activities and surrounding
The agriturismo offers delicious, wholesome local food, cooked according to tradition. In October and November, guests can take part in the olive harvesting.
Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio and Todi are just a short distance away; the Golf Club di Antognolla (designed by the famous architect Robert Trent Jones II) is just 3 km away and the Golf Club Perugia is 13 km away.
