Sellano (Perugia) Code
The agriturismo stands in the commune of Sellano (4 km from the centre), a place with a long history linked to the legend of the beautiful Pupa who lived in the castle, fought over by the local noblemen. The property is surrounded by the fortifications that characterise the hills of Spoleto, as well as beautiful nature. Today the castle is a hamlet, in which you'll find rooms and apartments, protected by ancient walls.
The apartments (2-6 beds) all enjoy independent access, and you can choose from accommodation only, B&B, half-board or full-board. You'll find a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom (several are suitable for disabled guests) and a safe. The castle also hosts a permanent exhibition of works by Ernando Venanzi.
The restaurant serves typical cuisine (including truffle, the farm's own black pig salami, homemade pasta), made with the farm's own ingredients. Nestled amidst ancient 13th century treasures, this beautiful space has been respectfully renovated.
The property stands in a unique landscape, the ideal place for your special events, with its own swimming pool and large play area.
The agriturismo offers space for meetings, conferences and business events. Guests can enjoy cookery or pork butchery classes, or forage for and taste truffles. You can go on a donkey excursion, try off-road motorcycling or visit a nearby dairy. The farm is home to many animals, and the owners will be happy to show you the different tasks they do every day (school groups are also welcome).
You can go rafting, or explore the Sibillini Mountains on foot or by bicycle (bicycles provided). Nearby you'll find fishing, the wonderful history of Spoleto (24 km), Bevagna, Todi, Spello, Norcia (36 km), Cascia (41 km), Spoleto (24 km), Foligno (31 km), Campello sul Clutunno (29 km), Assisi (48 km) and Perugia (65 km).
