A vacation at Agriturismo Dea is particularly suitable for those who love quiet, nature and the countryside and who want a restful vacation but at the same time look forward to discoveringUmbria.
Also available to guests is a large(8x18) and sunny swimming pool surrounded by a terracotta-paved solarium equipped with sun loungers, umbrellas, tables and chairs and even a wooden changing room.
Some children's games and a ping-pong table are available in the surrounding lawn.
Just 6 kilometers away, the town of Valfabbrica offers any kind of service and excellent local products, in the area also, there are several restaurants to enjoy typical cuisine at reasonable prices.
The accommodation
Surrounded by a marvelous panorama and within the family farm, the farmhouse offers apartments of different types and sizes, made out of the old family house and all with independent entrance and large outdoor garden equipped with tables, chairs, barbecue, shaded and sunny areas.
Francescana I(sleeps 5): on the second floor, it has a large living room (with sofa, wooden armchairs, period furniture, table and chairs and a large fireplace), 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with bathtub and the other with shower), kitchen and storage room. It shares the large garden with Francescana II.
FrancescanaII (sleeps 5): on the second floor, consists of large living room (with sofa, wooden armchairs, stylish furniture, table and chairs, and large fireplace), 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, and pantry.
Volta (ideal for 8 people), on the second floor, is large and quaint and consists of large living room (with sofa, wooden armchairs, period furniture, table and chairs and large fireplace), kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very large outdoor space.
Activities and surrounding
The farm produces an excellent extra virgin olive oil, but the largest area is devoted to forest and meadows. Even in the vicinity, therefore, it is easy to encounter wildlife: deer, squirrels, porcupines, birds of prey and much more.
At the center of the area between Perugia, Assisi and Gubbio, the area offers multiple opportunities for recreation: artistic destinations (Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia, Spello, Montefalco, Bevagna, Todi, Fabriano, Urbino), nature activities(hiking, caving, hang gliding, canyoning), sports(horseback riding, tennis), discovery of localcrafts (ceramics, wrought iron), tasting of local products (oil, wine, cold cuts, cheeses, legumes).
The farmhouse is near the castle of Giomici, owned by a branch of the family: the medieval castle, along with those of Biscina and Petroia, was an important point of control of the valley of the Chiascio River.
