The agriturismo

The country house is in the antique agricultural village that has been completely restructured and is immersed in the natural frame of the Parco del Monte Subasio, more or less 10 kilometres from Assisi on a property of 30 hectares amongst streams and bushes, breeding grounds and biological cultivations. It offers different combinations of accommodation, with very broad relaxing zones, space out in the open and a splendid swimming pool for a vacation that has a relaxing insignia and the tranquillity of the uncontaminated nature.

The accommodation

The structure provides 12 double/triple rooms with a bathroom, a dining room that can seat up to 40 people, a banquet hall, a reading hall and a reception.
The rooms are spacious and comfortable and they offer a panoramic view of the valley and of the surrounding property. It has terracotta flooring and ceilings that are insight. The colours have a soft and suffused approach, blend in well with the elegant and simple furnishings, and are always functional. Furthermore, the structure offers rooms that are adequate for the disabled.

The structure offers a pool that is equipped with deckchairs and sun beds, which is open in the summertime. The two reunion halls are different in size, one can accommodate 50 people and the other one can accommodate 150 people. The wide spaces in the open air, of this farm are skilfully and elegantly groomed, intensifying the beauty of the nature and are completely at the disposal of our guests.

The kitchen proposes regional and national traditional dishes, prevalently utilising the farm products. Salami and meat that are bred in a wild or natural state, vegetables that are biologically cultivated, bread and pasta that is made by hand and to end off there is homemade beer. Everything is served and prepared with attention and passion.

Activities and surrounding

At 600 meters in altitude, immersed in the Natural Park of Monte Subasio and easy to reach from Assisi (around 10 Km), the country house is part of an agricultural farm of 30 hectors of biological production. Amongst fields and bushed that are furrowed by streams and path, you will be able to take a walk, immersed in the peace and silence of the uncontaminated nature, that conserves its story and its grace. It is possible to observe the animals grazing in the pastures and to rediscover the fauna of the park (fawns, deers, foxes, birds of prey and porcupines).

It is possible to go on an excursion with a mountain bike, go on trekking routes and horseback excursions in the Natural Park of Monte Subasio. It is also possible to organise outings with quad bikes, four by fours or small trips to Mongolfiera to discover the park from a different point of view.

This structure is a good point of departure to visit the different cities of art like Assisi, Spello Gubbio, Spoleto, Perugia and medieval villages  like Bevagna and Gualdo Cattaneo. Here is where the umbro taste is born: Montefalco with its Sagratino and Trevi with its oils.

In the surrounding areas we suggest the following manifestations: Calendimaggio in Assisi, Archeofestival in Perugia, Corsa dei Ceri in Gubbio which takes place in the month of May; Giostra della Quintana in Foligno, l'Infiorata in Spello, Mercato delle Gaite in Bevagna which takes place in the month of June; Umbria Jazz in Perugia which takes place in the month of July, and the Cavalcata di Satriano in Assisi which takes place in September.
