The agriturismo
Nestled in the peaceful green Umbrian hills, this nineteenth century farmhouse stands in the stunning Niccone Valley, halfway between the Etruscan hamlet of Cortona and the city of Perugia, just a short distance from Lake Trasimeno. The agriturismo is just outside the town, meaning delicious fresh bread and locally produced meat are just a few minutes away on foot.
The accommodation
Managed by the owners themselves, the farmhouse has been tastefully renovated and is equipped with WiFi. The property comprises 2 air conditioned triple rooms - Lavanda and Ginestra – and 5 apartments, each one featuring an independent entrance, open fireplace, outdoor space for dining and relaxing, a kitchen, independent heating, a dishwasher and satellite TV. Activities and surrounding
As well as relaxing in the wellbeing centre or by the pool, guests can also walk or cycle though the woodland which surrounds the agriturismo. The agriturismo stands on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, in a region rich in history, home to 4 castles. Nearby you’ll find riding centres, a tennis court and nature trails. Just a few km takes you to Cortona, Città di Castello, Città della Pieve, Perugia and the towns overlooking Lake Trasimeno, while 40 minutes takes you to Assisi and Gubbio and 1.5 hours to Florence, Rome, Siena, Grosseto, Pisa and Terni.
