The agriturismo
Agriturismo Le More e I Gelsomini is located between Umbria and Tuscany, in the quiet countryside 7 km from Lake Trasimeno and 2 km from the border with Tuscany, province of Siena.
A beautiful swimming pool, a soccer field, the playground, two common rooms are available to all guests. In the hall you will find TV and a library. Free Wi-Fi available in common areas.
The accommodation
Le More e i Gelsomini, a beautiful property on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, is organized into 11 well-furnished and pleasant-to-live-in apartments of different colors and sizes.
The farmhouses have been entirely renovated by the owners in full respect of the stratification of the times and the needs they expressed. Some details of the furniture are inspired by famous paintings in region of the passion for painting of one of the owners, whose abstract works are placed in the walls of the two large rooms.
The pool area is fully equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. There is also a space reserved for children-a very cozy play and relaxation room with a custom-made table and chairs and a corner with a mattress and pillows, board games.
Completing the outdoor facilities are the playground, soccer field, ping-pong table...and lots of greenery!
Activities and surrounding
The location offers so many opportunities for relaxation, leisure and movement: walks, excursions, visits to monuments, natural parks, cultural cities, typical restaurants and much more (the company of friends, the joy of a baptism, the cheerfulness of a wedding, the composure of a business meeting, The toasts of New Year´s Eve).
It´s easy to reach Castiglione del Lago but also Tuoro, S.Feliciano and Passignano, all characteristic Trasimeno towns from where you can ferry to the islands.
Nearby: Golf club Lamborghini, thermal baths (Chianciano Terme, San Casciano dei Bagni), possibility of excursions by bicycle or on horseback, sports centers, wineries and wine shops.
Every Monday in high season and on request in low/medium season, the Cantina delle Fate, will offer wine and oil tasting evenings.
