The accommodation

The farmhouse, inhabited by peasants since the 40s and restored in accordance with local tradition, is located in the territory that includes the cities of Assisi, Montefalco and Spello, in the south Umbrian valley. In a rural setting ideal for families, the farm also hosts many farm animals, including numerous examples of Toulouse geese, free range chickens, laying hens, guinea fowls, turkeys and rabbits. The guest rooms are furnished in a Franciscan style, with period furniture restored and in poor art; the rooms on the ground floor can accommodate an extra bed, those on the first floor have a fireplace. The company restaurant uses organic ingredients from their own produce (vegetable garden and farm) and serves typical Umbrian peasant cuisine in a fixed weekly menu that varies from homemade noodles to polenta with pigeon sauce, from strangozzi to goose sauce to cut of chianina. Each dish is accompanied by fresh vegetables and wild herbs, local extra virgin olive oil and Montefalco wine, vegetables, extra virgin olive oil from local producers and wine from the cellars of Montefalco. The company's products can be bought, along with oil and wine with a short supply chain.
