The agriturismo
Surrounded by olive trees, oak trees and broom, this small agriturismo, in the hills just 10 km from Assisi on the edge of the Monte Subasio Nature Park, was born from the owners Livia and Enzo's passion for the region in which they were born and bred, and for the delicious local cuisine, made from simple, wholesome produce.
You can dine in the restaurant or purchase typical local produce, such as oil, wine, honey, legumes and cereals, as Livia guides you through Umbrian recipes beloved worldwide.
The accommodation
At around 600 m altitude, this family-run agriturismo is a typical local stone farmhouse, skilfully renovated to create rooms and apartments, which blend Umbrian Arte Povera and modern style. The light and airy apartments boast independent access, ample green space, open wood fires, TVs, free Wi-Fi, mini bars and/or kitchens, hairdryers and safes (in some apartments).
All guests also have access to the laundry area and the swimming pool with scenic views of the countryside, surrounded by a large garden with outdoor furniture, a wood veranda and a barbecue nearby. Tucked away, you'll also find a children's play area. In the cosy, intimate restaurant with hearth, exposed wooden beams and hand-decorated walls, you can enjoy typical Umbrian specialities, prepared using the farm's own and other zero mile produce. In summer you can dine on the scenic veranda.
