The agriturismo

A farmhouse with a swimming pool nestled in the Franciscan path, a few kilometers from the historic center of Gubbio, Ponte di Riocchio is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing vacation.

Entering the farmhouse, one enters a home that tastes of history, of family, of simple and genuine flavors, of homemade bread, of food prepared with organic raw materials and cooked with homemade olive oil, of homemade brioche, cakes and cookies.

Every corner of the farmhouse, allows you to find a harmony with the rhythms of nature to bring home a deep and lasting well-being.

The accommodation

Both rooms and apartments are very large and spacious, furnished with taste and simplicity and equipped with everything needed to give guests a pleasant and comfortable stay (private bathroom with courtesy line, flat-screen TV , heating and cooling, small private patio to enjoy an aperitif or a pleasant after-dinner drink illuminated by the starry sky).

Aneto: is a spacious room located on the ground floor of the old farmhouse. It can accommodate up to 4 people and consists sa a double bed and a bunk bed, private bathroom and TV. From the room you can raggingere a few steps to the pool, breakfast room and reception.

Lavender and Pomegranate: both are double rooms that can become triple if necessary. The bathroom is in both cases private. They are located in the little house where you will also find the reception, the small store of flavors, where you can buy delicacies to take home to remember the good flavors tasted during the vacation or as souvenirs.

Mint and Licorice: is a very spacious room, equipped with a private entrance consists of a double room that communicates with a twin room with two beds. The bathroom is private. It is located in the cottage a few steps from the pool and overlooks the garden and the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Salvia: is a lovely two-room apartment located on the second floor of the old farmhouse. It can accommodate up to four people and consists of a double bedroom and a bunk bed in the living kitchen. The bathroom, located in the master bedroom, is large and spacious and has a shower, courtesy kit and hair dryer. From the windows of the apartment you can enjoy the view of the pool, the garden and the beautiful Umbrian countryside. Thyme: is very large, perfect to accommodate a large family or a group of friends. It consists of one room with a double bed and a single bed and two single beds placed in the living kitchen. The bathroom is located between the two rooms and has complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. Amenities available: WiFi, pets allowed, reserved parking , refreshment service, private pool, in-room TV.

Breakfast, is served at the lovely room overlooking Gubbio, located a few steps from the rooms and pool. The plates, glasses and furnishings from our grandparents' house, immediately take us back to a dimension of country and good things. This poetry and joy, is also found in the sweets and savory foods that are served.

If, on the other hand, you prefer to manage yourself independently, the apartments are equipped with a kitchenette and everything you need to prepare your own meals.

Upon request, it is possible to reserve a picnic basket for outings.

Activities and surrounding

The agritourism organizes guided outings on foot and by mountain bike and collaborates with a nearby riding school, equipped with Friesian cattle with which both courses for children and horseback outings to explore the surrounding countryside are possible.

For those looking for a place to rediscover harmony between body and spirit, you cannot miss the holistic massages that take place in the chalet surrounded by olive trees, yoga classes, walks on the Franciscan path, or simply immerse yourself in the silence that surrounds the farmhouse, accompanied by the gentle sound of the stream (the Riocchio) and the festive song of the birds.
