Valle del Poggio is a farmhouse immersed in the green Umbrian hills, a structure with independent apartments surrounded by a large garden and swimming pool. The apartments are from 2 to 4 beds with independent entrance, kitchen with dishes, equipped with linen with weekly change.
The accommodation
In the frame of the green Umbrian hills, between Assisi and Gubbio a family atmosphere awaits guests for a comfortable and relaxing stay immersed in the tranquility of the Umbrian land. The farm is spread over an area of ??32 hectares in a hilly area in the municipality of Nocera Umbra with the ability to easily reach the most beautiful cities of Umbrian art. It offers accommodation in apartments, a swimming pool with solarium and a restaurant with seasonal cuisine and local ingredients. Ancient farmhouses renovated with harmony, offer apartments from 2 to 4 beds with beautiful views of the green hills and surrounding valleys. Large park with games, swimming pool with solarium, furnished garden, a stream. The accommodation, fully furnished and embellished with old farm work tools consists of lounge with wood burning fireplace, sofa, bathroom with shower also accessible to the disabled, double and single beds with orthopedic nets. The necessary for young children is available on request. The restaurant offers its guests the tasting and consumption on site of typical products and food (meat, vegetables, fruit, ..) of their farm. In compliance with the most ancient traditions of Umbrian cuisine, the agritourism is committed to giving priority to seasonal cuisine and to the choice of the real ingredients of the territory, offering dishes rich in the fruits of its fields accompanied by wines from the surrounding hills. Lamb meat, tagliatelle with goose sauce, with mushrooms, norcina cheese, truffle penne, and cheeses are served.
Activities and surrounding
It is possible to make guided tours for truffle search with trained dog and collection tools, walks or horse riding lessons in the nearby horse racing center. There are also many walking and mountain biking trails on tranquil and scenic trails that cross the farm through woods, pastures and meadows, or horseback riding and horse riding lessons at the nearby horse racing center. Guests can visit the farm and participate in various activities such as sheep milking and shearing, olive harvesting and all the campaign work (olive harvest, sowing, gardening, haying, etc.). Production and sale of typical products from organic production: lamb meat, cheese, vegetable vegetables and extra virgin olive oil obtained by cold squeezing.
