An ancient residence dating back to 1895, it was for decades the summer residence of a well-known local countess and today, after careful restoration, it opens its doors to the traveler who wants to live a unique experience in an elegant manor house located among the beautiful hills that divideUmbria and Tuscany, at 340 meters above sea level. The accommodation

The swimming pool (from 05/15 to 09/30), located in the villa's garden, boasts an incredible panoramic view of the surrounding hills. Its rectangular shape with measurements of 8 x 12mt has a depth ranging from 1.60mt at its lowest point to 2.20mt at its highest. Embellished with interior lights and a Roman staircase, it is also equipped with a hydromassage station inside and in the middle of a solarium area of more than 260 square meters paved in terracotta tiles and equipped with sunbeds, deckchairs and umbrellas, shower.The Villa is distributed on two floors connected by external stone stairs.

Activities and surrounding

The estate spreads over a hilly terrain of about five hectares, with fields mainly planted with olive trees that grow all around until they reach the 2000 square meters of garden adjacent to the villa. The lush garden hides among cypresses, oaks, plane trees, laurel hedges and colorful flowers, large spaces of green lawn and delightful corners from which you can enjoy the view of the characteristic surrounding Umbrian villages.

One of the strengths of Villa Missiano is undoubtedly its geographic location, close to the border between the regions of Umbria and Tuscany but also within easy reach of important road junctions such as the A1 Highway and the E45 (a 20-minute drive away) and the railway stations of Chiusi and Terontola (from which connections to Rome, Florence and Perugia depart).
